Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% in June 18–Monday
MOSCOW, Jun 26 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation grew to 0.1% from June 18 through Monday and reached 2.5% since January 1 after three consecutive weeks of flat prices, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for millet rose 0.5%, for rice 0.4%, for frozen fish, wheat flour and butter 0.3%, for chicken, cooked sausage, cheese, wheat bread and hard candy 0.2%.
Salt prices fell 2%, egg 1.1%, sugar 1%, mutton 0.6%, chocolates 0.2%.
Fruit and vegetable prices fell 1.3% on average.
Gasoline prices rose 0.1% and diesel fuel prices remained flat.
